In 2017, AHSEC had announced result for Higher Secondary Examination for all streams on May 31, 2017, which explains the speculations that the result will be declared on May 31, this year as well.

Last year, the result was released for all three streams – Arts, Science and Commerce on the same day, i.e. May 31, 2017. The result would also be released on alternative websites like http://www.examresults.net/assam/ahsec-hs-12th-result/, results.gov.in, indiaresults.com, etc. So in case the official website becomes unresponsive at the time of result, visit these websites, direct links to check the result would be made available on our page on May 31.
Log on to ahsec.nic.in. From the side menu, click on the Results tab. Alternatively, look for the link saying HS Final Examination (Arts, Science, Commerce) Results, 2018 on the homepage itself
A new results page would open. Enter your roll number and details, wherever required by the portal. Hit Submit. The result would be displayed on the screen. Save and print for future reference.
However, the AHSEC board like SEBA is also expected to be issuing the mark sheets and passing certificate on the same day. The online result is only provisional and meant for immediate information of the candidates.
Last year, a total of 2.5 lakh candidates had appeared in the examination out of which a total of 1,94,069 students have appeared in the Arts stream while 37,350 in Science and 17,894 students in Commerce stream. Last year, the result of HSLC examination was declared on May 31. As many as 3.91 lakh students had appeared for the examination, of which 47.94 per cent students cleared the examination successfully, the lowest in 15 years.
